Mr.M is disappointed on how he found our classroom. It is sad that when the teacher is out people do not seem to behave and act appropriately. The class is filthy, dirty and unorganized. What do you think should be the consequence for this behavior? How could Ms. Kimaara have been different? Do you think a male teacher would do a better or worse job? (Use appropriately)

I think the consequence for this behavior is to clean the mess up. It would be a punishment that will appropriately fit the situation. That way the room is clean, and the class learns the lesson. We will not liter, or make a mess anymore in the classroom. Although Mr.M might think this is not a punishment, it accomplishes two things at the same time. The class cleans and also gets the punishment.

Ms. Kimaara was not firm at giving precise instructions. She would manage to keep the class settled down. Ms. Kimaara also had a soft voice, which didn't help her get the attention of the class or hear the instructions. In order for her to be a better substitute she should have made a louder voice. The tone of her voice has to be made different in order for her to proceed with the class.

I don't think it would matter if our substitute were a man or a woman. Everyone has a different way of teaching, so as long as you get he students to stay on task. A male teacher sometimes doesn't really care and sits there. Women most likely get on task and do the best of their ability. I think men have a stronger character to make others listen.
